Private Lessons: 2 hour sessions. All skill levels

Day, time, and location will be arranged. Use this resource to get 1-on-1 customized training to take you to the next level. Bring up to 2 friends to split the cost.

Pistol 1: Fundamental Handgun. All skill levels

Pistol 1 will lay an excellent foundation for new shooters, as well as help anyone, regardless of experience, get to a new level of proficiency with a handgun in the areas of accuracy, weapon manipulation, and defensive handgun competency.

Pistol 2: Tactical Handgun. Pistol 1 (or equivalent) is a requirement

Pistol 2 builds on the fundamentals, but shifts focus to prevailing with a handgun on a 3 dimensional battlefield. We will cover movement, use of cover/concealment, scenario training, and force-on-force. This will put your fundamentals to the test by contextualizing the dynamics of a real gunfight, culminating in force-on-force scenarios simulating real gunfights.

Pistol 3: Performance Handgun. Pistol 1 (or equivalent) is a requirement. You should have a level of unconscious competency in your weapon manipulation before taking this class.

Speed and accuracy are the two objective measures of our skill at arms. You will put your fundamentals to the test against the timer. Emphasis will be placed on efficiency of the draw stroke, calling your shots, and how to practice for speed with acceptable accuracy. We will do numerous drills that will help you understand how you handle the physical and emotional stress of competition. 

Carbine 1: Fundamental Carbine. All skill levels

This course will teach foundational skills to effectively operate and run your carbine/AR-15. We will cover zero theory, weapon manipulations, and lay a foundation of efficiency that will benefit old and new shooters alike.

Refresher Range Sessions: 3-hour Refresher courses for alumni and approved attendees.

These range nights cover material to keep us fresh in our skills.

Equipment Requirements

- firearm in excellent working condition
- minimum of 3 magazines
- eye and ear protection: electronic hearing protection is highly recommended
- light jacket, hat, and close-toed shoes

Recommended:
- 1 or 2 magazine holsters/pouches

It is essential that you have your own gear for the course. If your equipment is not in safe working order you may be asked to leave the range at your own expense.

HANDGUN COURSES:

- outside the waistband (OWB) holster made specifically for your handgun that retains its shape when the firearm is not inside it
   - molded plastic or kydex are great choices 
   - inside the waistband (IWB) will only be allowed with permission. 
Nylon holsters and trigger finger activated retention holsters (Serpa) will not be allowed.

- sturdy belt to secure the holster 
   - holster must be secured to a belt

- 150 rounds of factory ammunition for Pistol 1&2 (total of 300 rounds if doing both classes)

- 250 rounds of factory ammunition for Pistol 3


CARBINE COURSES:

- quality sling that allows muzzle down carry

- 200 round of factory ammunition

Whereas, in consideration of being permitted to attend a course for instruction in and use of firearms, for use of premises, and for other good and valuable consideration, and the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Undersigned agrees to the following:

Undersigned agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Damme Training Group, Travis Damme and other designated intructors (herein after referred to as “Instructor”), from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands, or lawsuits arising out of, relating to or connected with Undersigned’s presence on or use of the range, building, land, and premises; and, any and all acts or omissions of Undersigned.
Undersigned furthermore waives for himself/herself and for his/her executors, personal representatives, administrators, assignees, heirs, and next of kin, any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands and any other actions or claims whatsoever, which he/she may have or which may arise against Instructor (including but not limited to the death of Undersigned and or any and all injures, damages, or illnesses suffered by Undersigned or Undersigned’s property), which may, in any way whatsoever, arise out of, or related to or be connected with: the course of Instruction; the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; Undersigned’s presence on or use of said Premises; Undersigned’s property(whether or not entrusted to the instructor); and the discharge of firearms. Instructor shall not be liable for, and Undersigned, on behalf of himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors, personal representatives, assignees, heirs, and next of kin, hereby expressly release the Instructor from any and all such claims and liabilities.
Undersigned hereby expressly assumes the risk of taking part in the course for instruction in firearms and taking part in the activities on the Premises, which include, but are not limited to, instruction in the use of firearms, the discharge of firearms and the firing of live ammunition.
Undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees that Undersigned has read this instrument and understands its terms and is executing this instrument voluntarily. Undersigned furthermore hereby acknowledges and agrees that he/she has read, understands and will at all times abide by all range rules and procedures and any other rules and procedures stated by the instructor.
Undersigned expressly agrees that this instrument is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any provision of this instrument is held invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be impaired thereby. No remedy conferred by any of the specific provisions of this instrument is intended exclusive of any other remedy, and each and every remedy shall be cumulative and shall be in addition to every other remedy now or hereafter existing at law or in equity or by statue or otherwise.
The election of any one or more remedy hereunder by the instructor shall not constitute any waiver of Instructor’s right to pursue other available remedies. This instrument binds Undersigned and he/her executors, personal representatives, administrators, assignees, heirs and next of kin.
